This working Pottery studio and shop is run by Artist & Potter Vicky Stonebridge in the Historic former Blacksmith Building.
With a new year, and less covid restrictions , I hope my studio will be open from mid April this year (2022)
I draw my inspiration from our magnificent surroundings , preferring to paint outside if at all possible. I use water colour and mixed media , painting landscape in ever changing light.

We are a working pottery with two potters specialising in a wide range of hand-thrown, hand-built stoneware, tableware and commissioned pieces.
From a small dish, through to a full dinner service, we take orders and post world-wide. We are situated on the south shore of Loch Carron, one mile south of Strathcarron railway station on the A890 towards Skye.
The Craft Shop stocks an extensive range of the very best of Scottish Crafts; including wood, silver, jewellery, textiles and many different ceramics, some local.
The Gallery upstairs displays paintings and prints in a wide mix of media and styles from local and Scottish professional artists. There is a wide range of items for sale in the gallery including textiles, glass, wood, basketry and iron work log rings and fire irons etc.

Aileen draws, paints and makes prints - etchings, aquatints, photopolymer gravures, linocuts and monotypes. Her work is inspired by the sea and hills of Wester Ross. She works in her studio at the back of her house in Lochcarron, where she has a printing press. Aileen's studio is open to visitors now and again – look out for the sign near Slumbay, on the road to Strome Castle - or check Aileen's Facebook page.
