I'm delighted to announce my upcoming exhibition which will be at Waterside Café Lochcarron spanning the duration of Tartan Week Lochcarron 2025 (27 September to 5 October). I'm using this exhibition to launch this long-term project.
Faces of Lochcarron: Portrait of a Community
Within these images lie the stories of five Lochcarron residents - each a reflection of their passions, their work, their joys. This is only the beginning of a longer journey to weave a living tapestry of our community, capturing its spirit for future generations.
In a world where moments often fade swiftly through screens and fleeting photographs, this exhibition seeks to hold onto the heart and soul of Lochcarron’s people—tangible, true, and eternal.
This is a project open to all, embracing every face and story. I warmly invite you to nominate yourself or someone you cherish - simply fill out a short form and place it in the box. Let’s write a collective portrait of our community, rich with diversity and life.
Tartan is not obligatory.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Lochcarron of Scotland for their generous sponsorship, which has made this exhibition and the first phase of the project possible. Their support, including providing some of the stunning Tartan items pictured (from their Heritage shop in Lochcarron), has been invaluable. Thank you, Lochcarron of Scotland,
for your commitment to celebrating our community.
