North West Highlands Art provides non residential short courses led by outstanding tutors. Brynaport House, home of Gillian Pattinson, is set in the stunning landscape of the Scottish highlands. Brynaport looks over Loch Kishorn to the stunning landscape of the Applecross hills.

From mixed media to watercolour, there are a variety of different courses from which to choose, suiting students of all levels and practices.

Every course seeks to develop and challenge your technique through active learning led by our world-renowned tutors. Whether it is the ancient hills of Applecross, whitewashed cottages and boats, or a dramatic Scottish sky, you will never be at a loss for inspiration. The light and colours, combined with the history and romance of the Scottish Highlands, make it a truly dynamic and fascinating place to paint.

Courses include lunch and afternoon tea with cake, as well as unlimited teas and coffees. Delicious dishes are laid out every day, from which students can create their own boxed lunch.
