The cottage is an original, stone built, croft cottage dating from the early eighteen hundreds. It has been sympathetically restored to retain its old world charm but also to provide modern comfortable accommodation. The situation is idyllic with outstanding views in a peaceful location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a true west highland experience.

The comfortable and well furnished lounge, which is shown above, is equipped with Freeview TV, DVD player, radio, cassette player and CD player. There is a small library of CDs and DVDs as well as an extensive library of books, some of which provide details of the local area and local walks.

All rooms, with the exception of the dining room, have sea and mountain views.

The large garden is surrounded by a secure fence and has two seating areas, one in front of the house and the other on the patio, both of which give outstanding views over the sea towards the islands of Rasaay, Rona and Skye. The view above was taken from the garden and shows the Island of Skye, with the Cuillin Mountains in the background behind the island of Rasaay. The trees at the rear of the garden are a haven for wildlife. Pine martens visit the garden and can be regularly seen.
