Balnacra Arts, Pop Up Pottery
The Former Blacksmiths building and Heritage Centre at the Community run Smithy Hub, has been transformed into a ‘Pop Up Pottery’.
OPEN; 10 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 10 am – 2 pm. Closed Sundays.
March to December
The Craft shop is in the old Schoolroom, where you will find not only our pottery but also the very best of Scottish Crafts. The range includes woodcraft – some local, jewellery from several different Scottish makers, silverware, other ceramics, excellent Scottish knitwear and much more besides, everything from a postcard to a wedding present.
Well stocked Spar food shop and licensed general store situated in the centre of Lochcarron village. Also has filling station and small DIY department. Open 7 days per week except Christmas and New Year bank holidays. Parking available near shop in parking bays on opposite side of road.
Three local artists, Cindie Reiter, Mairi Young and Aileen Grant, have transformed the former butcher's shop on Lochcarron's Main Street into an exciting new artspace. This venture aims to create a focal point for the visual arts in the Lochcarron area, showcasing original art and crafts by local people as well as guest artists from all over Scotland.
The resident artists' own paintings, etchings, linocuts, mosaics and hand-made wool rugs will also be on display. All items will be for sale, including selected products from Isle of Skye Candles and Skye Meadowsweet.
There will be regular exhibitions and installations throughout the year. Look out for a programme of creative workshops, aimed at local residents and visitors.

Applecross Smokehouse is located at Tigh a' Chracaich, Kenmore, on the North coast road of the Applecross Peninsula and provides a wide range of smoked and fresh seafood.
Our range includes hot and cold smoked salmon and sea trout, smoked mussels and scallops, smoked fish pates, Highland smoked cheeses, oatcakes and sauces.
Fresh shellfish includes langoustines, brown crab, king scallops, squat lobster tails and lobster (seasonal).
We also provide salmon fillets, white and smoked haddock and smoked kippers. All are subject to availability.

We sell a wide selection of individual arts and crafts, ranging from jewellery to books, incense, dreamcatchers, glass, soap and also a range of original cards and artworks.

We are a small family run business located in the picturesque village of Shieldaig in the Highlands of Scotland.We produce both hot and cold smoked salmon in our smokehouse in our back garden.We take pride in our no frills product, it's simply oak smoked, hand sliced, vac packed and we think simply the best.

West Highland dairy is a micro business now in it's twenty seventh year. We manufacture a range of cheeses, ice cream, yogurt, cheese cakes and cranachan ( a rather delicious local delicacy)
All of our products are manufactured from cows' milk although now and then we are able to source some goat and sheep milk, so do ask when you visit our shop.
The shop is open from March till October from 10am till 6pm.
